Praises to God

Some of you may have seen the extreme weather that has been hitting the Moab area this summer. There has been torrential rains and flash flooding. The main irrigation line at CVA was one of the casualties of the storms. This line supplies irrigation water to the fields throughout Castle Valley Farm. Organic potato sales are a large source of revenue for the school and this situation was deeply concerning.

Because the line crosses public lands, we needed to get permission from the Bureau of Land Management and the Army Corp of Engineers before we could repair it. Many prayers went up during this time of water crisis and approximately 70 acres of potatoes were being watered with the local valley fire truck and a water hauler!

Praise God that He answered our prayers and permission was given to make the repairs we urgently needed and the water is now flowing to the crops again!
